Version 1.2 · 10 October 2026 · translation; the German version prevails
1. Organiser
Hintermann Hospitality Partners, Ruedi Hintermann, Seestrasse 37, 8806 Bäch, Switzerland. Email: ruedi@hh-partners.com · Telephone: +41 76 561 86 64.
The organiser provides the boat, captain, hostess, accommodation on board and meals, and bears responsibility for safety on board.
2. Subject of the booking
The whole boat — a Lagoon 50 or Lagoon 55 catamaran departing from Athens or Split, as named in the offer — with captain and hostess for the week named in the offer, Saturday to Saturday. Start and finish as well as meeting point and time are stated in the offer.
There are at most eight guests on board (Lagoon 50) or ten guests (Lagoon 55). On the Lagoon 50, a 9th person in the inside cabin is possible only with the organiser's express confirmation. With a specialist on board, at most eight guests are possible on the Lagoon 55. There is no minimum number of guests.
3. Price and services
15,900 euros for the boat with captain and hostess for the week (Lagoon 50) or 21,900 euros (Lagoon 55), plus 500 euros per person for food and drinks.
Included: seven nights on board, captain and hostess, meals from the galley, all soft drinks, two dinners ashore, fuel, harbour and anchorage fees, bed linen and towels.
Not included: travel to and from the boat, transfer between airport and marina, wine and spirits from the boat's list, travel and cancellation insurance, excursions ashore and personal expenses. A coach or specialist on board costs the fee named in the offer plus 500 euros for meals; the specialist takes the inside cabin on the Lagoon 50 and a double cabin on the Lagoon 55.
4. Reservation, offer and confirmation
The reservation via the website is without obligation and holds the week for ten days. During this time the booking party receives a written offer with schedule, cabin allocation, price and the deadlines set out in the offer.
With the electronic signature of the offer the booking becomes binding. Flights should be booked only after that.
5. Payment
On confirmation a deposit of 50 per cent of the total price falls due. The balance falls due on the date named in the offer.
Payment is by bank transfer without surcharge. For card payment 2 per cent is added.
6. Cancellation by the booking party
A cancellation must be declared in writing. The amounts that remain owed on cancellation after confirmation are stated in the offer. Cancellation insurance is recommended.
Individual participants may be replaced by other persons up to three days before departure; the crew list details for the new person must then be supplied.
7. Cancellation or change by the organiser
The organiser may cancel the week for safety reasons, because of weather, because of a technical defect on the boat or if the captain is unavailable. In that case everything paid is refunded in full.
If the week is cut short after departure for safety reasons, the share for the days not sailed is refunded. Travel costs and personal expenses are not reimbursed.
8. Route and schedule
The route is a guide, not a promise. The captain decides daily on route, harbours and anchorages according to weather, sea state and safety; every evening there is a briefing for the following day. If a front comes through, the boat stays in harbour; the mornings of the week then take place on board or in harbour.
9. Safety on board
The captain is responsible for boat and crew; his instructions are binding for everyone on board. A safety briefing takes place at the start of the week. There is no sailing at night. If guests take the helm or carry out a manoeuvre, this happens under the supervision of the captain, who remains the skipper in charge.
10. Cabins
The Lagoon 50 has four double cabins with en-suite bathrooms and an inside cabin for one person; the Lagoon 55 has five double cabins with en-suite bathrooms. Who takes which cabin is agreed between the guests and the captain; he notes it down.
11. Obligations of the participants
Participants need a valid travel document. After confirmation, name, date of birth and a copy of the travel document are requested by email for the mandatory crew list. Dietary restrictions and intolerances are stated with the offer so that the crew can take them into account on board.
Anyone who comes along feels able to spend a week on board and can swim for 20 minutes without assistance.
The rules on board and the captain's instructions must be followed.
12. Confidentiality
What is said on board stays on board. This applies to everyone on board; captain and hostess commit to it in writing. Photographs are taken and used only with the consent of those shown; the name of the company, business or house is not disclosed by the organiser.
13. Security deposit
A security deposit for the boat is held by the charter company. Any excess in the event of damage, as set out in the policy, is borne by the booking party; the amount is stated in the offer.
14. Liability
The organiser is liable for the proper provision of all services booked under these terms. Travel to and from the boat is not part of the booking; the organiser is not liable for flight delays or cancellations. The organiser is not liable where a defect is attributable to the participant, for instance to disregard of safety instructions, to the unforeseeable or unavoidable failure of a third party not involved in the booked services, or to force majeure (clause 16). Liability for personal injury is not limited. For other damage it is limited to twice the price of the booking, unless the damage was caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Valuables and personal belongings are the responsibility of the participants, unless the organiser caused the damage.
15. Personal data
The data collected at reservation and with the offer — name, contact details, company or house, date of birth, dietary restrictions — and later the details of the travel document are used exclusively for organising the week: offer, crew list, catering on board and communication with the participants. They are passed on only to the boat's charter company and the crew. They are kept only for as long as is necessary for organisation and invoicing.
16. Force majeure
If events beyond the organiser's control — extreme weather, official orders, political events — make it impossible to carry out the week, the amounts not used are refunded. Further claims are excluded.
17. Applicable law
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Bäch SZ, the organiser's registered office. Mandatory consumer protection provisions in the participant's country of residence remain reserved.
