Who leads the week
Sohrab Papahn

A week with Sohrab: as an osteopath, movement teacher and lecturer with more than 15 years of experience, two yoga teacher trainings and his own format Primal Flowletics, he creates a week that brings body and mind into balance. Lively mornings on deck, quiet evenings at anchor with movement, sound and meditation.
He has worked therapeutically since 2011, first as a physiotherapist, since 2017 as an osteopath (BAO). Today he supports people as a Heilpraktiker for physiotherapy in his practice in Bochum, with a focus on neuroenergetic integration. He is the founder of Primal Flowletics, an author and a lecturer in anatomy, and has completed two yoga teacher trainings.
I listen to the body, in movement as in stillness, because it is always speaking.

Captain and host
Ruedi Hintermann

Ruedi organises this week together with Sohrab and is its captain. He comes from the hotel business, where he led rooms division and projects, and sails catamarans in the Mediterranean as an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore.
Sohrab carries the programme, Ruedi the boat, the route and everything around it: where you anchor, when you cast off, and that you feel at home on board from the first evening.

Why a boat
A group that moves
No everyday life knocking at the door, and every evening the boat lies somewhere new.
A retreat on land is a house a group lives in. A boat is a group that moves. There is no evening entertainment and no everyday life knocking at the door. Whoever is on board is there for a week — that brings a group together faster than any intention.
The surroundings still change every day without anyone packing. Each evening the boat lies somewhere else.
In late autumn, air and water are still mild, but the bays are empty. For a retreat, that is not the off-season but the better season.

The week
A week that brings you into your body
Every day with Sohrab: on deck in the morning, in the circle with the group in the evening.
Every day takes shape anew: Primal Flowletics, breath and yoga bring the mornings on deck to life; yin yoga, elements of qigong, meditation and sound carry the evenings at anchor, depending on weather and mood. In between, the day belongs to you and the water.
How you can shape your day
The morning begins the way you feel it: wake your body and mind with a lap round the boat, watch the sunrise light up the day, paddle to the beach on a SUP or simply enjoy the peace and quiet on board as the day wakes up – you follow what feels right.
The group comes together for the awakening session, followed by a generous breakfast. Later it is anchor up or lines off, and the boat glides across the water – pure freedom.
Lying in the sun, reading a book, watching the waves: you do exactly what you feel like.
By early afternoon the boat usually lies in a bay again. You swim or simply do nothing. Excursions ashore are expressly welcome, because there is usually something special to discover. You arrange them with Sohrab; costs such as a hire car are yours.
When the sun stands low, the group comes together once more. You look back on the day and at what it has stirred in you. Then you eat together.
What applies this week
On board the hostess cooks vegetarian, with eggs for breakfast too. On the evenings ashore you eat whatever you like.

The boat
Room for the group and room for you
A Saona 47 with nets, a sun deck and always a spot to be on your own.
The boat for this week.
The boat planned is a Saona 47.
A catamaran with saloon and cockpit on one level, nets on the foredeck and a sun deck above the cockpit. So even in a group that shares a lot, you always find a spot to be on your own.
On your own or shared
You share a cabin with another guest, always with a guest of the same gender. Who shares with whom, you decide together on the first evening on board. If you want the cabin to yourself for certain, you pay a supplement of EUR 900.
If the two of you come together, you book your cabin together and are sure to stay together.
The cabins: the four double cabins are the guest cabins.
The route
Saronic Gulf, out of Athens
-
Saturday
Boarding at Alimos Marina
You come aboard in the afternoon, then the briefing on the vessel and on safety. If there is time, the boat spends the first night already out off Aegina.

Sunday
Aegina Town
Neoclassical façades along the harbour, pistachios in every form, and above the bay the lone column of the temple of Apollo. This close to Athens and already a holiday.
-
Monday
Poros
The town climbs the hill, and the bell tower at the top is the evening walk. Alongside the quay you lie in the middle of things — this is the evening ashore.
-
Tuesday
Hydra
No cars, only donkeys and stone stairs; the harbour a half-circle of captains' houses. The boat anchors outside, and you go in by dinghy.
-
Wednesday
Moni, off Perdika
An uninhabited island with peacocks and wild goats, the water glass-clear over pale ground. Opposite lies Perdika, whose tavernas serve the catch of the day.
-
Thursday
Agistri
Pines down to the water, turquoise bays, no traffic. A last swim at anchor before the way back on Friday.
-
Friday
Back to Athens
The way back in one piece; by the afternoon the boat lies at Alimos Marina again. The last evening on board belongs to the group.
Weather
The forecast
Days of 18 to 20 °C, nights of 12 to 14 °C, the sea around 20 °C. It is light from about 7.20 am to 5.05 pm, and rain falls on around two days of the week. The wind is mostly light; when a strong northerly or southerly comes in, the captain picks a sheltered bay. Pack a warm layer and a wind- and rainproof jacket.

Questions
What you may be asking yourself
- Will I get seasick?
- The boat sails only a few hours a day, in sheltered waters between the islands, and a catamaran hardly heels. If you are sensitive, stay on deck and look at the horizon; your body usually adjusts after a day or two. Tablets help if you take them before casting off. Seasickness can never be ruled out entirely.
- Which language is the week in?
- The sessions and the conversations on board are in German.
- Who else is on board?
- 5 to 8 guests, booked alone or as a pair, plus Sohrab, the hostess and Ruedi as captain. Retreat weeks of this kind are new — you are among the first.
- What if I have to cancel?
- The week is confirmed in writing as soon as 5 deposits have been received by the cut-off date of 18 November 2026. Until that confirmation you may withdraw at any time; your deposit is refunded less a handling fee of EUR 100. From the confirmation onwards, the boat and services are firmly booked; if you withdraw after that, you owe the full amount. Up to 3 days before departure you may name a replacement person; if they take over your place, the amount paid is refunded less a handling fee of EUR 100. If the group has not come together by the cut-off date, the week is cancelled and you get everything back without deduction.
- What should I bring?
- Little, and comfortable. Bed linen and towels are on board, and before departure you get a packing list and the rules on board.
- When is the right time to book my flight?
- Book your flight only once Ruedi confirms that the week is going ahead – by 18 November 2026 at the latest.
